How a bus stop changed the life of a man, his dog, and a stray cat who wanted to find a home

The wonderful story we are telling today began at a bus stop. A vet student named Adam rode home on the bus with his husky dog, got off at the bus stop, and then stopped to phone his company. While he was talking, his dog had an unusual encounter: a small ginger kitten was sitting next to him.

The boy petted the kitten and then headed home. What was his surprise when he unlocked the door and saw the same kitten following the dog, but a little further? And they had a good distance to go.

Adam took pity and gave the poor guy something to eat, but since then the cat has walked past the boy’s house every day, literally greeting and welcoming him. A student is a student, he’s not rich and can’t fully support animals, and frankly, Adam never really liked cats, despite studying to be a veterinarian.

He later recalled that it was almost as if cats bit and scratched him on purpose during his studies when he got along well with dogs. He liked to get ready for his lessons near the local pond, which he had transformed into a kind of decorative pond, with benches and deck chairs set up around it.

Soon, the ginger cat found him there too. Almost every day he would come and sit next to Adam, then he would get bold enough to climb on his hands. He was a little nervous, then he grew bolder and climbed into Adam’s arms.

Of course, somehow Adam started growing attached to the stuffed cat. And it was hard not to get attached, because he was so looking forward to seeing the guy, so happy when they were together!

One day, Adam, despite his poor finances and lack of time, decided to take the cat home. Interestingly, Kadiak (the husky) was almost the happiest of them all, as she welcomed the new householder with warmth and love.

The cat, named Mango (as his new owner called him) spent the first months of his life on the streets, but luckily he didn’t catch anything serious and didn’t get sick. He now lives under the care of a competent person.

Adam is happy to have met the cat, and he jokingly calls the bus stop where it happened, a life-changing experience. The cat, called Mango (as his new owner nicknamed him), spent the first months of his life on the streets, but luckily he didn’t catch anything serious and didn’t get sick.
