A Latvian, Irma Petraskine, was walking in the evening on the bank of the Daugava when she noticed a wet bump lying on the bank. The dog was frightened and was whining softly. When the woman approached the wet and frozen dog, she noticed a heavy metal object attached to the dog’s collar.
« So they tried to drown the dog, » the woman decided. And indeed, there were no two opinions on this point, looking at the animal. She took pity on the four-legged creature and decided to take it home.
Irma identified the dog supposed to breed, and the rescued dog turned out to be a black and white spaniel. How did he manage to get out of the water? To this day, she remains a mystery to women.
She managed to untie a piece of wire attached to her collar and hugged the dog. Despite the treachery and betrayal, she had suffered from the man, the dog willingly went into Irma’s arms.
And when she picked him up, suddenly, in a gesture of gratitude, he licked the woman right in the face. He pressed his whole body against the woman’s chest and fell silent. When the woman returned home, she took to social media to explain the circumstances in which she found the dog.
The readers’ outrage was endless. In a short time, his page was visited by 750,000 visitors. Everyone was shocked by the heartless owner who decided to get rid of the dog in such a cruel way.
But soon the owner of the dog himself appeared on social media. He wrote to Irma and said that the dog had run away from the house, that he had been looking for him for a long time but never found him. The man asked when he could drop by to pick up his dog.
But the woman was determined not to return the dog to its owner under any circumstances. She asked volunteers from a nearby dog ​​shelter to come and look after the dog until the issue with the owner was resolved.
